Biography

James Singh was at Nestlé for the majority of his career, where he spent 35 years, the last five of which as Chief Financial Officer. He was previously the global head of M&A and business development.

Mr. Singh became a Senior Advisor to Rhône in 2013 and has been closely involved in assessing and acquiring businesses in the food and beverages sectors, including Eden Springs and CSM Bakery Solutions. He was instrumental in assisting Eden Springs in reaching an agreement to acquire Nestlé Water Distribution Europe as an add-on investment. He also joined the Board of Directors of CSM Bakery Solutions immediately upon its acquisition by Fund IV and served as Executive Chairman.

Mr. Singh also serves on the Board of Directors of RTL Group (Luxembourg), Great West Life Insurance Company and the American Skin Association. Mr. Singh holds a Bachelor of Social Science from the University of Guyana and an M.B.A from the University of Windsor, Canada. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (U.K.) and a Certified Public Accountant (Canada).
