Biography

Mr. Hoffman joined Rhône in 2014 and became a Managing Director in 2018. From February 1, 2025, Mr. Hoffman joined another private equity firm, returning to Rhone as Managing Director in December 2025. He oversees Rhône’s investor relationships, marketing and public relations activities, as well as global fundraising efforts. Prior to joining Rhône in 2014, Mr. Hoffman was a Partner and Global Head of Distribution for the Private Capital Advisory team at Harris Williams, where he supported Rhône, as well as other private equity firms, in fundraising activities. Previously, he worked in Investment Banking and Institutional sales at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Citigroup.

Mr. Hoffman serves as a director and advisor to a number of philanthropic and educational institutions. He received an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Rochester.
